Mainly it being a ''realist'' depiction of LA and American inner cities from a class based viewpoint but without it being a class struggle film like say John Sayles' work.<br />Also the cinematography reminds me of Robby Muller's which along with paranoid contempt of society and dead pan humor gives Repo Man a sibling relation as you mentioned.<br /><br />Since you brought up They live and Twin Peaks recently i was wondering what your opinion of Wild Palms is,or if you have seen it since its airing?<br />I think its flawed because it's O.Stone but deserves regard in that its way out there for 90's network tv...<br /><br />Glorious Jailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15780686926919156784noreply@blogger.com
