    The scene between Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken in True Romance is, well, sublime. Then there's his glasses in the scene on the train in Der Amerikanische Freund

    i agree, both take your breath away.
    there is a new monograph on him published that has a great photo of hopper and walken both sitting in front of the camera, check it out. wanted to find it on line for this post but was not able to. quite strange as the 2 of them certainly are.

    Great post. One film sorely missing, however: Curtis Harrington's "Night Tide" (1961). An absolute must. Very, very highly recommended.
