that cover is very nice indeed, i don't have it.... will have to keep my eye out, the new translation by penguin reads fine but it is a totally offensive cover with an uninteresting intro. sure is one hell of a book though, thanks for the link.
I was lucky enough to find a copy of the Edward Gorey cover art edition at the SF Friends of the Library sale for 25 cents. I agree with you on the latest translation. Penguin can do so much better with their designs!
cool... i went there last year i think, you have to have some patience! i found the new directions one for $10. or some crazy price in palo alto. use to belong to a communist.
